This six-to-seven hour course with live fire component onsite covers the new approved state course curriculum. This will certify you to apply for your LTC or FID Card through your local police department. Our certified instructors will cover applicable Massachusetts firearms laws to include possession, transportation, secure storage, safe firearm handling, use, and childproofing methods. New material includes suicide prevention and injury reduction education, laws governing use of force in the Commonwealth, disengagement and conflict avoidance tactics, and live-fire training. 

Our course is $185.00 per person.  A $110.00 deposit must be made in advance. Your online payment secures your spot in the next available class and is non-refundable. In the event you are unable to attend your scheduled class, you must provide at least 48 hours notice in order to reschedule.

Classes are held three days a week at Guns Inc. 1050 Main St., West Springfield, MA 01089. Students under 18 years of age must provide a written consent from a parent or guardian, who must be present at the time of signing up. This form is available in store, or can be downloaded here. Minimum age for attending this class with parental consent is 15 years old. Student (and their parent or guardian, when applicable) must provide a state-issued photo ID to register.
